WINBCO: Powering the Ethanol Industry Forward

WINBCO has long been a leader in the ethanol industry, even going back to our earliest days as a specialist manufacturer of tanks and tank systems. Today, we dominate the industry with several major contributions to ethanol plant construction over the past five years. We are the most experienced tank system manufacturer in the industry, with a long track record to prove it.

Over 80 Years in Ethanol Production and Related Applications

Corn milling was the base industry of WINBCO since our beginning as a company back in the early twentieth century. We grew and expanded with the industry as it evolved over the years, becoming a major contributor to storage tanks and tank systems used in manufacturing alternative fuels in the 70s. We manufactured continuous steep tanks for the very first commercial anhydrous alcohol producing plant in the country in 1978 and continued to contribute to nearly every single ethanol plant constructed or expanded since. Today, we continue to provide our services to a variety of markets within the industry, such as corn syrup production, lactic acids, biodegradable chemicals, and of course ethanol production and processing.

Building Tanks and Tank systems that Last.

WINBCO has a proven track record in providing corrosion-resistant and long-lasting tanks and vessels used in a variety of ethanol production and biofuel facilities.

  • Process tanks

  • Steep tanks

  • Fermenters

  • Wastewater tanks

  • Product storage vessels

  • Molecular sieves

  • Distillers, strippers and rectifiers

  • Aboveground storage

  • Vertical process and storage vessels

And these are just some of the products that we’ve made over the years. We’ve also been manufacturing a variety of tanks for use in sustainable biofuel production and storage. Our success and knowledge of the ethanol industry has allowed us to lead the charge in storage tanks for biofuel applications. After all, many of the tanks that we built all the way back in the 70s are still in use today, so the industry knows that they can rely on us for quality and durability.
